Course Overview Every year millions and millions of legal disputes are filed with the county clerks offices and end up backlogging the court system. To help offset the backlog, judges are referring majority of their cases to neutral third party mediators to try and settle the matter without taking up precious court time. With the average mediation charge being around $5000 per case, mediation definitely can be a lucrative business for anyone wishing to help people resolve disputes.
As of this year, the average yearly salary for most mediators is ranging between $50,000 to $100,000 a year with no law degree needed in certain states.
